Heather D. Nadler and Fran H. Levine
Heather D. Nadler is an Attorney with the Law Office of Ruthann P. Lacey, P.C., and is one of just seven attorneys in the State of Georgia to be Certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, as accredited by the American Bar Association. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of Special Needs Law, Elder Law, and Estate Planning.
Heather earned a B.S. in International Business with concentrations in Spanish and Management Information Systems from Auburn University and graduated with honors, Cum Laude. She received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law where she was on the editorial board of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. While in law school she also clerked at the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia for the Honorable Justice Hugh P. Thompson.
Every year since 2009 Heather was selected by her peers and Atlanta Magazine as a Rising Star in the field of Elder Law. Articles authored by Heather on the topics of Elder Law and Special Needs Law have been published in the Family Law Quarterly published by the American Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Journal, and Atlanta Lawyer Magazine.
Fran Levine is a Financial Advisor, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ AND CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR™ with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Atlanta. She focuses on holistic financial planning for successful professionals with an emphasis on life’s transitions.
She has over 30 years of financial services experience, including Morgan Stanley and its predecessors, SunTrust in Florida and Atlanta, Wells Fargo’s predecessors in Los Angles, and JPMorgan Chase in New York. Her prior background as an educator at the City University of New York and her training in psychology allow her to assist clients with some of the more complex issues involved in life’s changes.
Fran is a Board Member of the Atlanta Women’s Foundation where she is also Chair of the Investment Committee and Chair of the annual Women in Finance Fundraiser for AWF as well as a member of the Finance Committee. She is also on the Boards of Women’s Finance Exchange and Jazz Orchestra Atlanta, a non- profit performance and jazz education organization. Her other memberships include OnBoard (formerly the Board of Directors Network) and the Financial Planning Association. She was recently tapped to serve on a select diversity committee for Morgan Stanley.
She lives in Inman Park with her husband, Pianist and Music Director Brent Runnels.
